The BLT – 125/Navy Edition Line Thrower is a pneumatic line throwing system that throws projectiles by power of compressed air or with CO2 cartridges. The BLT – 125/Navy Edition Line Thrower has interchangeable launchers and easy refilling projectiles. It meets the demands of Solas/IMO regulation 74/83, and is recognized by RINA, Notified Body No: 0474 (Number: MED088716XT), is approved by USCG (Number: 160.040/EC0474) and similar organizations in other countries as a line throwing appliance onboard ships. Because there are no explosives used, lines can be thrown from and into flammable areas. Two safety features protect the system from false and accidental throwing; the ‘safety button’ and ‘over pressure valve’.

The PX02 meets high SOLAS standards for release hooks, as specified in MSC.81(70) and the applicable LSA code, and is suitable for davit-launched liferafts with a load up to 2,500 kg.
The PX03 release hook meets high SOLAS standards for release hooks, as specified in MSC.81(70) and the applicable LSA code, and is designed to suspend davit-launched rescue boats with a davit load of up to 1,500 kg.

The T-ISS EEBD is designed for escape from machinery spaces and can be carried by firefighters to assist personnel in need. Regular training is essential to ensure crews understand the importance of EEBDs. Crews should practice using EEBDs while simulating an escape from their workspace.
